Mom did all the birthday shopping early this morning after she dropped all the kids off at school and before she went to work.
Dad had a few meetings today while Mom was at work all by herself since some of her girls at work are sick. Dad was able to pick up Brayden from school and as soon as Mom was home from work it was Brayden's special night.
He had his birthday dinner date with Mom and Dad and he chose Stake n Shake. He was super cute and was so happy to be going on a real date without his teachers. (He takes his teachers on pretend dates during outside play at school.)
Getting an ice cream shake was on the top of his list along with mini corndogs. We had a fun dinner and then ran to a few stores to pick up a few things.
At Walmart Mom got lost from Dad and Brayden so we ended up being there a little longer than we had planned. Mom had originally picked out playdough for his present tomorrow but he had told Dad that he wanted big boy toys. So we traded it in for something else.
Once we got home it was time for bed and Brayden was trying to hurry and get his pajamas on. In the middle of undressing he comes running and says, "Look Mom! I'm in jail!" (as he is flexing his muscles and pretending to lift weights.) This kids is so funny!!!
