We had one of our families favorite traditions....General Conference Super Sundaes. In the past sessions we have asked the kids questions about conference and they get one topping for every question they get right. They earn the ice cream just for watching conference with the family and toppings are a bonus.
This year Mom decided that she wanted a more open discussion with the entire family. We could all share with each other what we learned, things that stuck out, stories we remembered, what color ties they wore, etc. It was a great experience and one that we will probably carry on. The older they get it will be great to talk about how conference affected each person in our family and it won't just be about what color they were wearing or who conducted or what songs they sang.
The theme we took from conference this year is missionary work and that we have a loving Heavenly Father.
