We slept in and then watched the Macy's day thanksgiving parade in our pajamas. Staci woke up feeling not so good so she just tried to relax all day.
Everyone was good sports and went down into our woods for a quick family photo. The tree did a great job taking our picture and only dropped the phone once.
For dinner we had decided on K&W Cafeteria but when the kids saw the line we changed and called over to Cracker Barrel. They said the wait was only 30 minutes. It was a 25 minute drive and I looked up online what they served for their Thanksgiving dinner. The picture looked amazing!!
Well, by the time we got there it was a two hour wait. We put our name on the list and then sat in the rocking chairs and waited.
Staci started to feel worse so she wanted to lay down in the car. I felt horrible and asked her if we needed to get it to go. She said she was fine but her eyes were so watery and she looked horrible, plus a headache had started. It was not what Paul wanted but what needed to happen. We ordered our food to go and took it home in to go boxes.
We arrived home and the food was actually very good! It didn't quite look like the picture I found online though...which gave us a good laugh. Staci took one bite and it didn't settle right so she had her lemonade and went up to bed.
Then we called family to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and then hopped into pajamas and watched a movie! When Staci woke up she felt much better and ate her Thanksgiving dinner by herself at the table. We did join around and kept her company before everyone went to bed.
