In the morning the kids got their pictures taken in their new outfits with their
cousins. We were only missing Parker & Addison. Then they each got to throw
a bag of pop its around at each other.
We saw fireworks in a weird place this year. We went to a cemetery and sat on the grass. Staci realized after we got there that there was dead bodies buried under us. The owner of the cemetery encourages it and in years past has handed out popsicles.
The kids did some sparklers while we waited. It took Xander a minute to take one in his hands because he kept telling Mommy that they were hot. But he finally caught on and only held it while his sister drew things in the air with theirs. It was their first time doing these.
The fireworks was a good show. Xander kept saying, "Whooo, that is a big one." He really seemed to enjoy it. On our way out Xander's sunglasses fell out of the car but mistake and Mom ran them over. Whoops! But amazingly enough she only broke on side of the frame and the lens fell out but they still worked.
After we got home Mom had bought some fireworks for the kids to watch. This was their first time as well. They had the funniest expressions on their faces and they kept plugging their ears. It was too cute!
