No Power

Today was Kaitlyn's first day in ballet. She was so excited although she was very nervous. After her class we had a fun activity at the kids school. It was a movie night with Ratatouille with spaghetti & meatballs for dinner. The kids didn't eat the dinner so well but thought the movie was great! They colored pictures and some of them go to see some friends. It was for the younger grades so there really wasn't many kids Staci's age there.

Kaitlyn was picked up early from the movie and went to a sleep over at Tabatha's. They have been planning it for weeks and we finally had it scheduled. Brayden was so sad that he couldn't go.
We left the movie a little early since the dogs had been in their kennels for a long time. On our way out we noticed that the power was out.

A transmitter blew up on base and we were out of power all night. Dad had a fun night at the barracks on duty. Once the power went out a riot started and rocks were being thrown threw windows. So they secured everyone to their rooms at only 8:30 at night. But Dad had to stay awake in the pitch black on watch all night.

We were able to hook up our portable DVD players inside our camper and luckily our lights work off the battery. So we were able to watch a movie. The boys & Mom fell asleep but Staci stayed up until 11:30 watching a movie.

What a crazy night!!! It didn't help that it rained all night long so the dogs were up most of the night. So Mom didn't get any sleep.
