We woke up a little late this morning. I made pancakes for breakfast and we had to wake up the kids. With everything that is going on right now Paul is wearing protection everywhere he goes. The kids were wondering why Dad would wear a gun to church, but Xander assured everyone that he was doing this to protect us.
At church they asked Paul to say the opening prayer. As he stood up the young adults behind us started whispering he has a gun, he has a gun, he has a gun. It was kind of funny! Well after sacrament meeting they pulled him aside and asked if he was asked to wear this. Which he responded that yes they have asked that if he had a concealed license to please carry. They told him that they had several complaints and that if he was going to carry he needed to conceal it. A few minutes prior to this he got a call that he ad to go to work. So we got the kids out of classes, except for Staci (she stayed with friends) and headed home. He jokingly said at work that he was asked politely to leave.
So when we got home the kids all had a snack, I fell asleep for a few hours and when Staci got home she said that the boys (deacons) were laughing saying he brought it to scare the boys off of Staci.
Our little angelfish fry are really starting to swim around more. It is fun to see them!
We watched Inspector Gadget as a family before the kids went to bed. Then they had sleepovers (Brayden with Kaitlyn & Xander with Staci). At about 10:30 pm Brayden came in our room saying he was hungry. We gave him a banana and he told us that he wasn't tired and that some home when he gets up in the morning his eyes are closed. A few minutes later he comes in with his blanket and says he wants to sleep with us. So he slept on the floor on my side of the bed while we watched Island Hunters. Crazy that people have $3,000,000 to buy property like this.
