Tonight was pack meeting at our house and for our opening activity we played human checkers. It seemed like everyone enjoyed it. Xander was able to do the flag ceremony and direct it. He was a little nervous about it but he did a great job!
After the meeting we played our own checkers game together with just our family. Paul made it home just before bed time because the freeway was crazy and had pretty much stopped in many areas. He ended up getting off and taking a different route home.
Once he got home we were going to play another game before bed but the kids lost that from being whiny so it was a quick pick up and straight to bed. There was some unhappy faces and tears!
