Not So Silly Pizza

Today started out as a good day! Work was good, the kids all had a good day at school and Paul had a fun activity for work. I finished Xander's piano lesson and then did a little school work before making our dough for silly pizza night. I was so proud of myself for making it and found a betty crocker recipe. It was going well until we started to use the dough to make our pizza. The kids got their chunk of dough like they do every time we make silly pizza. It didn't roll very well and kept crumbling. After talking to my sister she said, "you didn't make pizza dough you made pie dough." As we watched it cook and took it out of the oven it had changed into this very crumbly and dry dough. The kids tried to eat it but not one of us finished. So we made a lot of popcorn and had that with our dinner! Next time we will go back to Francesco's and get a large pie dough for only $4. GREAT DEAL!!!

Well Paul rode his bike to work and it rained for part of the day (mostly the afternoon). This doesn't go well with the people here in North Carolina. They don't know how to drive in the rain and there were plenty of accidents. So his 35 minute drive turned into 2 hours of driving and he was freezing when he arrived home.

He made his pizza and wondered what happened!! We watched Zookeeper for our movie night and then it was bed time.
