So it was three of days of being in bed....
Sunday - I slept in and the kids got up, made breakfast, watched a movie, played games, made lunch and I finally got up long enough to tell the kids thank you! They made me lunch and Staci made dinner for the whole family. All the meals were off by a few hours.
We ran to the church for Kaitlyn's New Beginnings. She was so excited and Staci was one of the youth speakers. They introduced the new girls and Kaitlyn got some honey. Then Staci gave her talk about how personal progress has helped her in her life. She has such a strong testimony and an amazing example to her friends & family. Then the girls all played a speed friendshipping game while the boys played walking line tag in the gym. I sat on a chair and visited with a friend. I almost didn't make it as I almost passed out part way through the meeting.
We got home and the kids ate dinner and then all got ready for bed. I went back to bed!
Monday - The kids got ready with a little help from me. I got them off to school and then went back to bed until about 12:30 pm. I was feeling much better.
So I took a test and (HOORAY!!!) passed a test so only 2 more tests and 2 essays to write before the end of the term next month. Then I worked in the kitchen for a little. The dogs had peed in the house more than a few times and that is all I can smell in there. Then I got dinner ready for the kids and actually had dinner with the family tonight at the table.
Brayden had swim lessons tonight. Half way through his swim lessons I stated to feel dizzy again....whoops! I over did it (just a little). So I ran to bed and Brayden says, "We got this Mom you just go back to bed!"
Tuesday - Now for today. I finally was feeling good and went to work today after getting all the kids to school. I only felt dizzy a few times so I tried to sit as much as possible.
After school Xander and Mom had cubscouts. The boys had worked this month on pocketknife safety so tonight they carved soap. Lets just say there was soap carvings all over the dining room and it was a very fresh clean smell throughout the house.
Then we all hopped in the car and ran to the dollar store and for dinner at Wendy's. We didn't have time to make dinner tonight because Xander had his first Jr Jazz basketball practice. Little did I know that he was wearing boots and practice was starting in 5 minutes.
We ran home, dropped off all the kids at home and Xander & I ran over to his practice. He was only 26 minutes late (to be exact) and he had a good time. Two of his friends from church are on his team and his friend's Dad from school is the coach. This was great because he already had familiar faces.
Once we got home he was so exhausted that it was a crazy time trying to get him into bed. We had family scriptures & prayer time. We will have to figure this out on these late nights with possible prayer before so he can just come home and go right to bed. It was another night of screaming and hitting. So Mom had to hold him tightly so he wouldn't hurt himself. These are the tough nights when it is so physically and emotionally hard with his ASD.
So as I write in my journal tonight I am sitting here eating chocolate graham crackers and then headed to bed where Staci is going to paint my nails. She always knows how to put a smile on my face!
