Happy Birthday Parker!!!

This morning Dad left early for his breakfast and gun club auction. He forgot the check book so we all had to hop in the car and run it to him on base. Staci took it into him and came out saying how nice the guns are and that they were really shiny.

Mom planned on cleaning the house but the baby had other plans. Mom was sick and worked on the dishes while laying in bed. The kids were so great and let her rest!

By 3:00 we were wondering where Dad was and Mom was feeling better. The kids were ready to get out of the house though. We called Dad and he had his guns at work. So we hopped in the car to go check them out.

Dad had the biggest smile on his face as he had his four guns he bought. But he only spent $780.00 on them so Mom was happy. The kids loved holding them, especially Staci.

We were going to take the kids to Mona Kids Jungle but we didn't have enough time so we ran a few errands and then headed over to Bachan & Jichan's house.

We were giving them a tiny book of memories of them with the kids. They loved it! Then we invited them for eat dinner with us and ended up picking Chili's up to go and ate back at their house.

While Mom and Dad were picking up the food the kids walked over to the park with Bachan & Jichan. We got back and Xander was in Kaitlyn's pannies & shorts. He had a large amount of diarreah up his back and Mom had no diapers in the diaper bag. Whoops! So after dinner, we decided to walk over to the Japanese market and get diapers and ice cream for dessert.

Learning to Hula

Today was a big day for Kaitlyn. We registered her for Kindergarten. It didn't quite go as planned for Mom though. We all got up early with Staci and took her to school. Then we got in line for the registration. Mom was feeling pretty good because we were like 12th one there. But as we waited for 45 minutes and got up to the front of the line they wouldn't put Kaitlyn's name on the list because we didn't have prove of our address. Mom wasn't aware that we needed it since we already have one child at the school and they should have this on file. They said they could give her the paperwork but that she couldn't be added to the list until they can verify where we live. Mom had to go home. She was furious and hoped that we could still get Kaitlyn into this school. Here in Pocatello they have open enrollment so you can take your kids where ever you want. This doesn't make any sense why it matters where you live then anyways but Mom hurried as quickly as she could...

Helpers in the Kitchen

Each night a different one of my children helps me make dinner. I have done this for awhile but have finally figured out the way to make it easier on myself. i get everything prepared ahead of time in little bowls just like they do on the Food Network. This way the kids just mix the ingredients in an easy way without having to measure stuff and the clean up is so much easier. I just tell them how much everything is as we are putting it together. Well tonight I made something super easy but it has the restaurant style look to it from a Pillsbury Cookbook (one of those small ones that are always by the register that my husband and I have a ton of because we pick them up all the time when we are out and about). I think my husband will be shocked, at least I hope he is... Monster Trucks

This morning the kids all slept in but we had to get them going since today was going to be a busy day. We made pancakes & eggs for breakfast. After we ate it was time for Staci to say good bye to Cami & take her home. They had a fun sleepover although Staci has been one onwry girl every since. So it will be a few weeks before she can have another sleep over, that is for sure. We left to go and get Dad's new toy, a new BBQ grill. We got it at Costco for a little more money than Mom had originally thought when Dad started searching a few months ago. But this grill has everything; an oven, ice box, a searing station, griddle and more. It is everything Dad wants in a BBQ. But now Dad can do all the big cooking outside and not use up the kitchen for the big dinners that he puts on for people. Dad is a great cook and Mom's know this will get plenty of use.
