Today was the day for Grandma's play. She is Mrs. Potts in Beauty & the Beast. Before the play we met family at the park for some dinner. Everyone brought different things. It was nice to see Becky and all her girls.
As we were walking over to the theater Dee got their with Nathan & Nicole and they started talking and saying Hi to everyone. Staci came up to Mom and said, "Mom, they are talking to me like they know me or something." Mom explained that they do know her and that is Grandma's sister. She looked so confused.
The play was so great and even made Mom cry. It has just been so long since she has seen her in a play. Xander & Kaitlyn sat great for the first half and then after intermission they lost their focus. Luckily Aunt Ronda brought cups of ice and so they chomped down on ice the entire time. Kaitlyn was very observant and noticed everything in the play; sometimes before Mom noticed things. Grandma did a great job! Afterwards we got to take lots of pictures with Grandma and some of the other cast members.
