This evening Staci was so excited to go to tumbling class. Last week she learned how to do a back tuck on the floor and couldn't wait to show it to Mom. But at class she wasn't able to do that. Her coach didn't work with her much in that area. She did do plenty of other fun things that we enjoyed watching but not what she really wanted to work on. Maybe next week she can show off her new stuff.
While we were at the gym Xander threw a couple of fits and lost his pillow pet, blanket & Jimbo (build a bear). So the entire way home he yelled at Mom. Then when we got home he went straight into Mom & Dad's room. He grabbed a pillow off the bed and looked at Mom. When Mom asked what he was doing he said, "You lost a pillow because you are in big trouble." Mom couldn't believe it. What was going on with her little boy. He got worse from here. He was throwing such a tantrum that Mom was getting more frustrated by the minute. She ended up holding his bedroom door shut while he was kicking and screaming. Once he finally laid down he was asleep in less than five minutes.
Dad called to let Mom know he was going to be later than he thought just after all of this. Mom knew there was nothing Dad could do but he listened to Mom's frustration.
The girls were great! They got ready for bed and then Staci read stories for them together. Mom then got into bed and didn't move the rest of the night.
