Christmas Lights

This morning I woke up to Brayden asking me if a big bottle of chili powder was cinnamon. I thought it was the middle of the night and wondered why he was awake. Then noticed the cleaning class was 9:00. Sleeping in a dark basement is affecting my sleeping. So I helped Brayden find the right bottle and he made cinnamon toast for his breakfast.

Staci got to babysit her cousins (Aspen & Blake) while I ran errands with Grandma m and had lunch with Scott at Fire House Subs. We enjoyed a relaxing day at home with cousins. 

They played games (puzzles, hide and seek, more with the photo booth and pool). 

Once I got home we also did nails with all the girls. My niece Aspen got her nails painted too. She then needed help opening a candy cane later after they dried. Her excuse was I have nails and they are hard!! She is so funny!

 

Xander also warned his whittling chip for cubscouts and learned to carve soap with Grandpa.

When Grandma & Grandpa got home the girls went shopping. Grandma and the girls are making sewing projects and needed fabric while I spent time at Verizon getting SIM cards.

We saw some Christmas lights in Draper. So fun to see the 'The Tree of Life' and a fun house that has music and a light show!!

For dinner we went to IHOP because they had their kids eat free deal. Little did we know the special ended two days before so we got the military discount instead. Love breakfast for dinner!!

Then the kids stayed home with Grandpa while Grandma & I went Christmas shopping. They did the photo booth with Grandpa and then it got too late. Grandpa fell asleep on the kitchen floor. The kids went to bed and then I wrapped presents. One of my favorite things!!
