Busy, Busy, Busy

For family home evening tonight Staci gave the lesson on missionaries. We played a fun game to see who could answer questions and build their missionary puzzle. The girl were up the entire game but the boys won in the end. Then after dinner Kaitlyn got out the treat of her choice since she was the treat/testimony. She made an interesting one that everyone just loved. She got out oreos, marshmallows, sprinkles & chocolate sauce. There was no ice cream but it sure was tasty. Kaitlyn also shared her testimony of Jesus Christ and that he is real was resurrected and that we all can be resurrected one day. She shared her testimony all by herself and we were so pleased with our little girl.
The end of the week was better than the beginning. Mom was able to go to young womens without the kids. Dad was working late but Tom Bakes agreed to watch the kids. They watched cartoons & made brownies. But when Mom got to their house he was asleep, the kids were doing well watching cartoons and being good. They got to bring their brownies home to eat.
On Thursday we went to the library for storytime. It had been a few weeks since we had been because Kaitlyn & Xander didn't want to go. But they were happy to go today and we will start going regularly again. Next week Brayden will start in his new book babies storytime there.
On Friday Staci was out of school so we enjoyed spending the day together.  Dad locked his keys in his car and we had to go help so our dinner time had to wait until after Xander's Taekwondo class. Xander had his class for Taekwondo as his new rank. He was the only one in class because Mom messed up the time and so we went to a later class. Dad was working late so Mom told the kids we would have a movie night & got the kids two movies. But Dad came home when Mom was making dinner so he joined us. Since we had dinner so late and started the movie later than usual we only watched one and the kids went to bed at 10:00. We watched Nanny McPhee Returns. Then Mom & Dad watched Salt before going to bed.
Saturday Dad went snowboarding. Mom couldn't find anyone to watch all the kids so she couldn't go. Hopefully next week we can get a sitter so Mom & Dad can go together & Mom can try out her new board. In the morning the kids were promised they could have popcorn & watch their 2nd movie during snack time. So they watched Marmaduke. Then Mom took the kids out to lunch at Artic Cirle and the kids friends were there so they were excited to play around. Staci got to play at her friends house in the afternoon too. You would think that with all of that the kids would be happy but they were whiny all evening. Mom got so frustrated that she put the boys to bed early. Dad took Kaitlyn out on her Daddy Daughter Date. They went to Outer Limits and played arcade games together. She came home with a big smile on her face and prizes that she won with all the tickets they got. She was one happy girl.

Learning to Hula

Today was a big day for Kaitlyn. We registered her for Kindergarten. It didn't quite go as planned for Mom though. We all got up early with Staci and took her to school. Then we got in line for the registration. Mom was feeling pretty good because we were like 12th one there. But as we waited for 45 minutes and got up to the front of the line they wouldn't put Kaitlyn's name on the list because we didn't have prove of our address. Mom wasn't aware that we needed it since we already have one child at the school and they should have this on file. They said they could give her the paperwork but that she couldn't be added to the list until they can verify where we live. Mom had to go home. She was furious and hoped that we could still get Kaitlyn into this school. Here in Pocatello they have open enrollment so you can take your kids where ever you want. This doesn't make any sense why it matters where you live then anyways but Mom hurried as quickly as she could...

Monster Trucks

This morning the kids all slept in but we had to get them going since today was going to be a busy day. We made pancakes & eggs for breakfast. After we ate it was time for Staci to say good bye to Cami & take her home. They had a fun sleepover although Staci has been one onwry girl every since. So it will be a few weeks before she can have another sleep over, that is for sure. We left to go and get Dad's new toy, a new BBQ grill. We got it at Costco for a little more money than Mom had originally thought when Dad started searching a few months ago. But this grill has everything; an oven, ice box, a searing station, griddle and more. It is everything Dad wants in a BBQ. But now Dad can do all the big cooking outside and not use up the kitchen for the big dinners that he puts on for people. Dad is a great cook and Mom's know this will get plenty of use. Well we got home and then had to get Xander changed to be ready for his big game. It was his first t-ball game today and...
