Today was our Stake Conference. Mom worked so hard to get another packet done in our reverence books & the kids actually did pretty good during the meeting. Two hours is a long time for anyone & we didn't get their early enough for the soft seats. There was some great talks. When we got home Dad got ready to leave. He had to go to Boise. Xander said, "How come he gets to got." Everyone said their goodbyes and then we all had quiet time. When we woke up the kids played outside for a little while. For dinner Mom made something so perfect. She made a pork roast & the kids ate it up like candy. Xander said it was the bestest thing he ever had in the whole world. Kaitlyn said it was her bestest thing and Staci said it was the best meat she has ever had. Mom asked, "Better than Dad's. The kids response was funny. They just smiled and didn't say a word. Mom will never be as good of a cook as Dad but she was very happy with the way this turned out. It was so tender & we also had asparagus & fresh tomatoes. For family home evening we learned about the prophets & the kids rememberd things we had talked about before. That just makes Mom smile because she wonders at times if anything gets through.
