Dad stayed home from church today since he is now sick. We were hoping it had already left the house but we though wrong. He had the chills most of the night and was walking around in a sweat shirt the night before.

The kids were actually good at church with Mom there by herself. Brayden had to go out once but that was just him not wanting to share with his brother.

Mom was super busy at church today helping finish up the new binders for the primary teachers next year. They needed class lists, lesson schedules, new manuals, substitues lists and more. It was quite the chore but Mom is happy to say it is all done. Now she just has a few more things to finish before the start of the year and is hoping for a smooth transition in a few weeks.

Dad made homemade chicken noodle soup & rolls that he started last night. He promised everyone he would have dinner for the choir members after practice today since he changed it to 4:00 pm. Our practice went well and then everyone just loved his food. He made the stock, noodles and rolls all from scratch. It was delicious!!!

Crazy to think these guys are 18 months apart..

Just before we left for choir Scott & Aubrey came up for the evening so Aubrey could get her hair and nails done. Her schedule is a little crazy before Christmas so this was her only chance. The kids had so much fun together!!

We started her hair right after choir practice and we had a few issues in the middle of it all. One of the twins had diarreah more than a few times and Xander started throwing up. YEAH!! It was not what we were expecting. We also ran out of foil and so Mom dug a little and decided to just use

wax paper. This was not the best choice since the color stuck to it instead of her hair. But all in all it ended up looking cute and something different! She was happy and that is what counts.

These three get along GREAT and they are a little under 3 years apart.

Learning to Hula

Today was a big day for Kaitlyn. We registered her for Kindergarten. It didn't quite go as planned for Mom though. We all got up early with Staci and took her to school. Then we got in line for the registration. Mom was feeling pretty good because we were like 12th one there. But as we waited for 45 minutes and got up to the front of the line they wouldn't put Kaitlyn's name on the list because we didn't have prove of our address. Mom wasn't aware that we needed it since we already have one child at the school and they should have this on file. They said they could give her the paperwork but that she couldn't be added to the list until they can verify where we live. Mom had to go home. She was furious and hoped that we could still get Kaitlyn into this school. Here in Pocatello they have open enrollment so you can take your kids where ever you want. This doesn't make any sense why it matters where you live then anyways but Mom hurried as quickly as she could...

Helpers in the Kitchen

Each night a different one of my children helps me make dinner. I have done this for awhile but have finally figured out the way to make it easier on myself. i get everything prepared ahead of time in little bowls just like they do on the Food Network. This way the kids just mix the ingredients in an easy way without having to measure stuff and the clean up is so much easier. I just tell them how much everything is as we are putting it together. Well tonight I made something super easy but it has the restaurant style look to it from a Pillsbury Cookbook (one of those small ones that are always by the register that my husband and I have a ton of because we pick them up all the time when we are out and about). I think my husband will be shocked, at least I hope he is... Monster Trucks

This morning the kids all slept in but we had to get them going since today was going to be a busy day. We made pancakes & eggs for breakfast. After we ate it was time for Staci to say good bye to Cami & take her home. They had a fun sleepover although Staci has been one onwry girl every since. So it will be a few weeks before she can have another sleep over, that is for sure. We left to go and get Dad's new toy, a new BBQ grill. We got it at Costco for a little more money than Mom had originally thought when Dad started searching a few months ago. But this grill has everything; an oven, ice box, a searing station, griddle and more. It is everything Dad wants in a BBQ. But now Dad can do all the big cooking outside and not use up the kitchen for the big dinners that he puts on for people. Dad is a great cook and Mom's know this will get plenty of use. Well we got home and then had to get Xander changed to be ready for his big game. It was his first t-ball game today and...
