This morning we had a special visitor, an elf from the North Pole. He had brought our family a special breakfast. We had snowballs, hot chocolate, candy canes and he brought each of the kids some special fuzzy socks! Mom threw in some bananas as well to eat with their breakfast. This new tradition was a hit today and they listened very closely while Mom read our new book 'Elf on a Shelf'. After the story was over we ha
d to think of a name for our elf. The kids talked about many different names but came up with the name 'BOB'.
The kids were convinced that his eyes we moving and watching each of them while they ate their breakfast. They each put on their new socks and went to brush their teeth. They were shocked when he moved in the front room when they returned. He is magical and will lose his magic if the kids touch him. He flies to the North Pole each night to tell Santa if the kids have been naughty or nice that day. But when he returns he is in a new spot and the kids have to see what new place he has taken as his for that day. This is going to be so much fun!
