Belly Button Leak

This morning Mom woke up early to make pancakes for the everyone. Then she headed up to the hospital to be there with Jason while Dad stayed home with the kids. The kids had a good morning and Dad was even to take Kaitlyn on a Daddy Daughter Date. He took her to The Aquarium, which she loves!

As she got home she helped finish packing the girls up so they could head home with their Dad today. He had to be back to work in the morning so we decided for him to take the girls and Mom would keep the boys and come home this weekend sometime.

In the afternoon Mom offered to watch Scott & Aubrey's kids while Aubrey could get some sleep. She worked all night and needed to rest. Luckily she put in ear plugs because the kids were kind of crazy! They had fun but were loud at times.

Dad and the girls got home late so they went to Red Lobster for dinner so they didn't have to get home to cook & eat so late.

Mom's family is having meals brought in from the ward for the week since we are all rotating up at the hospital to be there with Jason. It has been nice to not have to worry about cooking dinner as well as going back & forth to the hospital.

Mom helped Sasha with a math map project this evening. It took him a few hours but we got it done and with his artistic skills it looks great.

While Mom was helping Sasha with is homework Brayden came upstairs walking kind of funny. Then he said, "I wet." When Mom asked him, "Why, what happened?" He told her, "My belly button." Then after Mom checked his shirt it was wet but not his pants. She then check his pants & he had been playing with himself and had pulled his pullup down just enough that he was sticking out and peed just on his shirt. It was too funny that he thought his belly button did it.

Mom also gave everyone haircuts before putting the boys to bed. Scott, Aubrey, Grandpa & Sasha all needed haircuts. Even Xander wanted his head shaved but Mom is still waiting to do that until summertime or at least until after his 5th birthday pictures.

The boys were not tired tonight for some reason but finally fell asleep and Mom is hoping they are good tomorrow while she is up at the hospital.

Learning to Hula

Today was a big day for Kaitlyn. We registered her for Kindergarten. It didn't quite go as planned for Mom though. We all got up early with Staci and took her to school. Then we got in line for the registration. Mom was feeling pretty good because we were like 12th one there. But as we waited for 45 minutes and got up to the front of the line they wouldn't put Kaitlyn's name on the list because we didn't have prove of our address. Mom wasn't aware that we needed it since we already have one child at the school and they should have this on file. They said they could give her the paperwork but that she couldn't be added to the list until they can verify where we live. Mom had to go home. She was furious and hoped that we could still get Kaitlyn into this school. Here in Pocatello they have open enrollment so you can take your kids where ever you want. This doesn't make any sense why it matters where you live then anyways but Mom hurried as quickly as she could...

Helpers in the Kitchen

Each night a different one of my children helps me make dinner. I have done this for awhile but have finally figured out the way to make it easier on myself. i get everything prepared ahead of time in little bowls just like they do on the Food Network. This way the kids just mix the ingredients in an easy way without having to measure stuff and the clean up is so much easier. I just tell them how much everything is as we are putting it together. Well tonight I made something super easy but it has the restaurant style look to it from a Pillsbury Cookbook (one of those small ones that are always by the register that my husband and I have a ton of because we pick them up all the time when we are out and about). I think my husband will be shocked, at least I hope he is... Monster Trucks

This morning the kids all slept in but we had to get them going since today was going to be a busy day. We made pancakes & eggs for breakfast. After we ate it was time for Staci to say good bye to Cami & take her home. They had a fun sleepover although Staci has been one onwry girl every since. So it will be a few weeks before she can have another sleep over, that is for sure. We left to go and get Dad's new toy, a new BBQ grill. We got it at Costco for a little more money than Mom had originally thought when Dad started searching a few months ago. But this grill has everything; an oven, ice box, a searing station, griddle and more. It is everything Dad wants in a BBQ. But now Dad can do all the big cooking outside and not use up the kitchen for the big dinners that he puts on for people. Dad is a great cook and Mom's know this will get plenty of use. Well we got home and then had to get Xander changed to be ready for his big game. It was his first t-ball game today and...
