T&T

Mom is doing good with her walking but had to cut it short today because she wanted to be back before Dad went to work and had a few things to get done before preschool started today.

Brayden was so cute today. He is just loving school. He grabs his backpack after we get ready. Today he had on his backpack and went outside telling Mom he had was going to preschool. When his friends arrive for class he comes inside all excited and ready for preschool. It makes Mom happy that he is so excited even though he doesn't go anywhere and has Mom as his teacher. The kids did better today and it will only get better each time they come and learn our routine here at preschool. Mom does give them play time but has a very structured preschool.

Xander got to have his friend Sawyer stay after school today and play until we went to the gym. But first the kids had to get their rooms clean and we actually ate dinner before too. The kids were a little too hungry yesterday with us rushing and having dinner at about 8:00.

Xander was so excited to start his tramp & tumbling class tonight. He did pretty good for his first time and Mom got it all on video. He worked on handstands, back tucks on the tramp and back hand springs with help from his coach of course. But the class was a little larger tonight so Mark (Sawyer's Dad & owner) helped out with the class. He is a great coach so Mom was happy that he was able to help with Xander's first time and Sawyer is in the class to. But with two parents & being at the gym alot he can already do back flips and even surprises his Mom sometimes.

The kids were pretty good but a little whiny. It will take us a few weeks to get used to be on schedule again with school, friends and sports.

Learning to Hula

Today was a big day for Kaitlyn. We registered her for Kindergarten. It didn't quite go as planned for Mom though. We all got up early with Staci and took her to school. Then we got in line for the registration. Mom was feeling pretty good because we were like 12th one there. But as we waited for 45 minutes and got up to the front of the line they wouldn't put Kaitlyn's name on the list because we didn't have prove of our address. Mom wasn't aware that we needed it since we already have one child at the school and they should have this on file. They said they could give her the paperwork but that she couldn't be added to the list until they can verify where we live. Mom had to go home. She was furious and hoped that we could still get Kaitlyn into this school. Here in Pocatello they have open enrollment so you can take your kids where ever you want. This doesn't make any sense why it matters where you live then anyways but Mom hurried as quickly as she could...

Helpers in the Kitchen

Each night a different one of my children helps me make dinner. I have done this for awhile but have finally figured out the way to make it easier on myself. i get everything prepared ahead of time in little bowls just like they do on the Food Network. This way the kids just mix the ingredients in an easy way without having to measure stuff and the clean up is so much easier. I just tell them how much everything is as we are putting it together. Well tonight I made something super easy but it has the restaurant style look to it from a Pillsbury Cookbook (one of those small ones that are always by the register that my husband and I have a ton of because we pick them up all the time when we are out and about). I think my husband will be shocked, at least I hope he is... Monster Trucks

This morning the kids all slept in but we had to get them going since today was going to be a busy day. We made pancakes & eggs for breakfast. After we ate it was time for Staci to say good bye to Cami & take her home. They had a fun sleepover although Staci has been one onwry girl every since. So it will be a few weeks before she can have another sleep over, that is for sure. We left to go and get Dad's new toy, a new BBQ grill. We got it at Costco for a little more money than Mom had originally thought when Dad started searching a few months ago. But this grill has everything; an oven, ice box, a searing station, griddle and more. It is everything Dad wants in a BBQ. But now Dad can do all the big cooking outside and not use up the kitchen for the big dinners that he puts on for people. Dad is a great cook and Mom's know this will get plenty of use. Well we got home and then had to get Xander changed to be ready for his big game. It was his first t-ball game today and...
