Coloring EGGS!!

This morning we ran over to Comprehensive Park with the Caldwell's. They have never been. On the way over Staci wanted Owen to ride with us. He was excited at first and then got all shy. It was cute watching them together. Everyone seemed to enjoy the park. Xander was happy until Mom told him for the last time not to throw sand in the air. He was not happy when his time in the sand was over and he got in trouble. Mom brought bread so the kids were able to feed the fish & try and get some to the turtles. There are so many fish you really have to search for the turtles.

Then we picked up Dad. He finished Scout camp today and was now home. We met the Satchell's at Kadena for the Spring Fest. The kids were able to play in a few bouncy houses and go on some slides but then it started to rain.

We got food at the commissary and ran to the PX. The plan was to go home and drop off the food, then head over to Mike's Italian restaurant. None of us had lunch and it was already 3:30. Well the restaurant wasn't opened until 5:00 so we ate at Chili's.

On our way home the kids all got to pick out their own Easter baskets at the MakeMan store. They all picked out the same and they were only 100 yen a piece. What a deal!

Later that evening we colored Easter eggs. Each of the kids got to have their own little pack of 6 eggs to dye. Xander loved it and it was fun to watch him actually color eggs for the first time. He was too little last year so he didn't get to do it. He didn't want to stop and when we told him we were done he was not happy.

Once the kids set out their Easter baskets & were in bed Mom cut Dad's hair. As she was just finishing, Staci came in to tell us that Xander was at the table. He was sitting by his Easter basket waiting for the Easter bunny. Mom tried to talk to him and he covered up his face thinking no one could see him. He was so cute and it was hard putting him back in bed. But he listened and they all went so sleep good after that.

Learning to Hula

Today was a big day for Kaitlyn. We registered her for Kindergarten. It didn't quite go as planned for Mom though. We all got up early with Staci and took her to school. Then we got in line for the registration. Mom was feeling pretty good because we were like 12th one there. But as we waited for 45 minutes and got up to the front of the line they wouldn't put Kaitlyn's name on the list because we didn't have prove of our address. Mom wasn't aware that we needed it since we already have one child at the school and they should have this on file. They said they could give her the paperwork but that she couldn't be added to the list until they can verify where we live. Mom had to go home. She was furious and hoped that we could still get Kaitlyn into this school. Here in Pocatello they have open enrollment so you can take your kids where ever you want. This doesn't make any sense why it matters where you live then anyways but Mom hurried as quickly as she could...

Monster Trucks

This morning the kids all slept in but we had to get them going since today was going to be a busy day. We made pancakes & eggs for breakfast. After we ate it was time for Staci to say good bye to Cami & take her home. They had a fun sleepover although Staci has been one onwry girl every since. So it will be a few weeks before she can have another sleep over, that is for sure. We left to go and get Dad's new toy, a new BBQ grill. We got it at Costco for a little more money than Mom had originally thought when Dad started searching a few months ago. But this grill has everything; an oven, ice box, a searing station, griddle and more. It is everything Dad wants in a BBQ. But now Dad can do all the big cooking outside and not use up the kitchen for the big dinners that he puts on for people. Dad is a great cook and Mom's know this will get plenty of use. Well we got home and then had to get Xander changed to be ready for his big game. It was his first t-ball game today and...
