The kids woke up and went through their Easter baskets. They got to look through and got to eat just a couple pieces of candy. Then everyone had to get ready for church. Everyone looked so cute in their new Easter outfits. We had a nice Sunday that was early. Our meeting was from 8:00 - 9:00 because the Japanese had their general conference today and we had to be out of the building. Mom and Dad participated in the choir. Mom played the piano & organ while Dad sang and even Staci joined in during the performances as well.
In the afternoon Baachan & Jiichan had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. There was candy all over the yard and eggs hid everywhere. They loved it! They ate so much candy.
We had a nice ham dinner with our friends that we can now call our Okinawa family. We are so grateful for the friendships we have made here and how great everyone is with our children. They have really had an empty spot of missing family filled in while we are away from our family back at home. We know that we will always be close with our Okinawa family.
