Birthday Boy

Today is Xander's birthday but you can't tell him that because he already had a birthday on Friday at his pirate birthday party and is already 4 as well. Too funny!

BIRTHDAY STATS:
Weight: 37 pounds
Height: 28 1/2 inches

Staci headed off to school and was so excited to have her Valentine's party. After school Mom had a little Valentine's goody for each of the kids from Grandma. They love getting their little holiday bags from her & use the cups for months that they always get.

Mom traded cars with Dad and took his truck to get it cleaned and left a surprise with chocolates and a card in his truck when we traded back.
.

Dad arrived home with flowers for Mom and a flower for each of the girls. It was so sweet and the girls were so happy. Mom loved her flowers. Dad liked his chocolates although he wondered why Mom got a girly box. Mom knew he would say something but it was the chocolates inside is why Mom picked that one. The more manly boxes didn't have as good of a variety in them. We both got a good laugh out of it.

Xander got to open his presents when Dad arrived. He had been staring at them all day with them being wrapped and sitting on the couch. He got a Iron Man toy from Mom & Dad, $5 bill and picked out some legos from Oma & Opa with the money they sent, and then the girls got him a snake, turtle, sunglasses & a ball game from them & Brayden. He was a very happy boy! He picked Jack in the Box for dinner but when we got there he didn't really eat much. He just wanted his chocolate milk and to play.

We also stopped quickly and picked up some goggles & gloves for Mom to use for snowboarding this week on our vacation. She got all dressed in her gear when we got home while Dad took his board in to get shaped up or sharpened (what ever it is called).

Xander built part of his house with his legos with Mom before going to bed. He tried by himself and then the girls helped him but didn't understand that this was going to take more than a couple of steps and he has to be patient. So Mom decided to help and had to the girls do something else.

Learning to Hula

Today was a big day for Kaitlyn. We registered her for Kindergarten. It didn't quite go as planned for Mom though. We all got up early with Staci and took her to school. Then we got in line for the registration. Mom was feeling pretty good because we were like 12th one there. But as we waited for 45 minutes and got up to the front of the line they wouldn't put Kaitlyn's name on the list because we didn't have prove of our address. Mom wasn't aware that we needed it since we already have one child at the school and they should have this on file. They said they could give her the paperwork but that she couldn't be added to the list until they can verify where we live. Mom had to go home. She was furious and hoped that we could still get Kaitlyn into this school. Here in Pocatello they have open enrollment so you can take your kids where ever you want. This doesn't make any sense why it matters where you live then anyways but Mom hurried as quickly as she could...

Monster Trucks

This morning the kids all slept in but we had to get them going since today was going to be a busy day. We made pancakes & eggs for breakfast. After we ate it was time for Staci to say good bye to Cami & take her home. They had a fun sleepover although Staci has been one onwry girl every since. So it will be a few weeks before she can have another sleep over, that is for sure. We left to go and get Dad's new toy, a new BBQ grill. We got it at Costco for a little more money than Mom had originally thought when Dad started searching a few months ago. But this grill has everything; an oven, ice box, a searing station, griddle and more. It is everything Dad wants in a BBQ. But now Dad can do all the big cooking outside and not use up the kitchen for the big dinners that he puts on for people. Dad is a great cook and Mom's know this will get plenty of use. Well we got home and then had to get Xander changed to be ready for his big game. It was his first t-ball game today and...
