Today was Paul's first choir practice. We were getting dinner ready and going to head over to the church for practice when the kids wanted to come outside. We usually don't let them play outside on Sundays but for some reason we didn't stop them. Xander was doing a flip on the bar when he twisted his arms funny. He came funning over to us holding his arm when he fell forward. He hit his head on the edge of the cement patio. He didn't move and knocked himself out. Paul picked him up and saw the goose egg on his head and scrapes on his face. He was looking around wierd and didn't know who he was or where he was. He did know who I was but was scared because he didn't know who was holding him (which was his Dad). We knew we needed to visit the hospital. We called the Bakes to watch the other kids while we ran down the hill to the emergency room. My husband gave him a blessing & we were off. They ran an MRI of his brain but said that everything was fine. They said to keep an eye on him and watch him closely. It was very scary and that night I didn't sleep at all. We were very grateful to our neighbors for helping with the kids and letting everyone know that we will start choir next week.
